Muhammad SAW presents a system of life that befits the human’s basic nature. It is based on vertical and horizontal aspect of human’s affiliation; the adherence to the creed of divinity, maintaining a righteous human relationship and taking care of the nature. This relationship sets the foundation of the Islamic practices.
The foundation which is set on a such holistic structure will face stiffness, stagnation, malaise and easily disintegrate when the spirit of the religion is no longer alive.
One of the important spirit of the religion is based on the loving and emulating the Prophet Muhammad (saw). It is the principal part of this lovely religion. It is the chain that connects to the grand gate of His Grace and Mercy.
Hence, the Mawlid celebration signifies the awakening of this spirit. It denotes sense of gratitude, reflection, motivation, and inspiration to educate the ummah to hold fast to the “rope of Allah”.
By organising the celebration, indirectly, together we are building the true identity of ourselves, family, society and strengthening the integrity, prosperity and sovereignty of the nation.
